Medical Clinic Video - Dental Hygiene (International project)
Objective: Create an engaging educational video about dental hygiene.
Audience: Guatemalans coming to the clinic for medical care.
Colors: I utilized bright colors as these are culturally attractive to the audience.
Strategy: Design compelling motion graphics to keep viewers engaged in the content and utilize repetition to promote information retention.
Note: The Dentist and Anita were generated with AI as requested by the art director in agreement with the client.

Medical Clinic Video Intermission - Chicken Bus (International project)
Objective: Create a fun intermission video to be played between educational videos.
Audience: Guatemalans coming to the clinic for medical care.
Colors: I utilized bright colors as these are culturally attractive to the audience.
Strategy: Design joyful scenes of Guatemalan culture that will help ease anxiety and take patient's minds off of their medical concerns.
Medical Clinic Video Intro (International project)
Objective: Create an engaging introduction for the collection of educational health videos.
Audience: Guatemalans coming to the clinic for medical care.
Colors: I utilized bright colors as these are culturally attractive to the audience.
Strategy: Design a joyful scene of Guatemalan life that incorporates a local family engaging with medical services in a positive and hopeful way.
Note: I created all digital illustrations except for the chickens and the bus.
Video Game Menu (international project)
Objective: Create a video game menu that utilizes illustrations created by our team partners in Mexico City, Mexico.
Audience: Spanish speaking children of North America ages 7-12.
Colors: I chose colors from the characters our UNAM partners had created.
Strategy: These characters were originally created to be used in a children's book. I chose the card carousel menu to reflect the pages of a book. Ji-Hoo's page was created to reflect his main super power, the ability to disappear.
Social Media Ad
Objective: Create a motion ad inspired by print ads.
Audience: McDonalds target audience.
Colors: Brand colors and complimentary colors from the different print ads.
Strategy: Inspired by the Apple ad "Don't Blink" I wanted to create a story with a strong beat that highlighted all of the benefits McDonalds offers it's customers.
Lyric Video
Objective: Create a video entirely focused on the lyrics of a song.
Audience: Colton Dixon fans.
Colors: I wanted to create a warm feel with minimal colors in order to keep the focus on the lyrics. The red/orange was inspired from the colors on the cover of the Canvas EP.
Strategy: Let the lyrics tell the story. Utilize strong typography with simple animation to create the scene and allow the words to flow from line to line. Adding additional sound effects only where they are appropriate and wont take away from the song.
Interactions
Objective: Create a video the utilizes only a letter and a shape.
Colors: I chose based on story I was creating in each scene.
Strategy: Plan out the different scenes that would best suit the shapes of the letter and triangle. Then introduce colors and sound effects that will aid in telling the story.
